My first Punjabi wedding of 2014 happens in Calgary and it's pretty magical:
It starts with the engagement ceremony and the future groom looks in good shape:
The first jaago of the week. Definitely not the last:
Naturally, the mehndi party is the next day:
And obviously, the third day we have maiya, choora and more partying:
The welcome ceremony at Manny's. Not for me, but I enjoy it just as much:
One more jaago. Because it's fun:
The party doesn't stop. In fact, it goes on for two more days, but we're taking a little break for now.
