The Red Sand Beach (aka Kaihalulu Beach) gets it's colour from the rust-red lava cinder cliffs around it. The short hike to the cove is hazardous because a part of the trail was lost to a landslide. But, if you're comfortable navigating cliff edges, you should go on a little adventure. This gem is one of the hidden wonders Hawaii is famous for.
